Benefiting Charities: Exodus Sports for Better Life Foundation 501(C) (3) (“Exodus”) whose mission was created in response to the scarcity of structured activities available to youth and young adults in Lower Manhattan, Harlem and other low-income neighborhoods of New York City. Inspired by the idea that the passion and commitment that young people give to athletics, come from the same root of determination that can lead them to excel in their education and personal development. Exodus program places equal emphasis on participants’ sports, life skills and academic success. All participants that complete the program go to college on a partial or full scholarship. Exodus is expanding its successful mission into international markets.
Ejike Ugboaja Progressive Initiative (Exodus U. S. A. – Africa Basketball Camp) is aimed at developing youth that are interested in basketball and education in Nigeria, Africa. By showing them the importance of hard work, dedication, service, teamwork and discipline in the game help shape other facets of their lives. Teaching campers skills and lessons that will help them to develop to be sound players and good and reliable people as well. The goal is to identify several promising student athletes and help them obtain educational scholarships in the United States.
